Course Objectives

Upon completion of this course, new Odoo users in the accounting department will be able to:

  • Navigate the Odoo Accounting module: Understand the dashboard and key menus to access financial data and functions.

  • Manage customer and vendor invoices: Create, validate, and register payments for customer invoices and vendor bills.

  • Handle bank and cash transactions: Reconcile bank statements and manage internal transfers.

  • Process payments: Record incoming and outgoing payments, including batch payments.

  • Manage fixed assets: Create, depreciate, and track company assets.

  • Generate standard financial reports: Run and interpret essential financial statements like the Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, and Aged Partner Balance.

  • Utilize the key features of Odoo's accounting functionality: Understand how to use features like deferred revenues/expenses, analytic accounting, and follow-ups.
